N769KR is a basic KR2 structure, stretched and narrowed to allow plenty of room for one pilot. It uses the new wing, AS5048 and includes inboard flaps and outboard flaperons, trim on all three axis and two axis auto pilot. Powered by O-200 with Sterba 60x72 prop. Prop repitch is needed to raise the RPM above the current 2450 RPM. Top speed is currently 150 knots, Many parts were scavenged from other projects: sliding canopy, landing gear, pedals, fuel tanks, seat, spinner, throttle quad, wheel pants. Have 10 hours flying so far, but as all experimentals, still a work in progress.
